Horses have always been our passion and love. Since the moment Kelley was born, there was never a time in her life without horses. In addition to riding and training various disciplines, she managed a large barn and breeding operation. She knew her calling was breeding and raising foals.
The powerful, majestic Friesian was a childhood dream of Kelley’s that always seemed out of reach. With hard work and determination, that dream became a reality. We both will never forget the moment we met our first Friesian. She was perfection. I was so happy and excited that I cried literal tears of joy. In that moment I knew I wanted to re-live that feeling over and over. I wanted others to feel that overwhelming sense of happiness and pride when you see and touch YOUR dream horse, YOUR unicorn, YOUR Friesian.
So along with my husband and his unwavering support, Black Gold Farm was born. A place where the jet black coats of the magnificent, supreme Friesian horses shimmer in the sun like gold. A place where dreams come true.
