My grandpa passed on to me his love, talent and passion for horses. My mom encouraged and supported that passion, knowing how strongly horses ran through my veins. I grew up working cattle, trail riding and wondering the pastures on horseback. At 12 years old I started lessons in Dressage and Jumping and continued that training into my late 20’s. At the age of 17, I started training horses under saddle for friends and family. At 20 years old, I took a part time job exercising race horses. When I turned 21, I was offered a full time job as a barn and breeding operations manager at a large cutting horse farm. It was then I knew my calling was breeding and raising foals.
The powerful, majestic Friesian was a childhood dream that always seemed just out of reach. My husband and I will never forget the moment we met our first Friesian. She was perfection. I was so happy and excited, I cried literal tears of joy. In that moment I knew I wanted to re-live that feeling over and over. I wanted others to feel that overwhelming sense of happiness and pride when you see and touch YOUR dream horse, YOUR unicorn, YOUR Friesian.
