Jason graduated from K-State with a degree in Animal Science. His focus was on large animals, mostly cattle, but there was always a fondness for horses. That fondness grew stronger after meeting Kelley and spending time with her, riding and caring for the horses. After meeting a Friesian horse in person for the first time, Jason was hooked. Not many people get to say their first horse was a Friesian, but Kelley knew that was exactly what Jason needed. Their Friesian herd has expanded, but Jason still shares a special bond with his mare Z. He is her favorite and she is the one that he spends the most time with. There is nothing quite like having a Friesian as a best friend.
